Chocolate Self-Saucing Pudding
Serves- 6 Prep- 15 minutes Cook- 45 minutes

Ingredients-
70g butter
70g dark chocolate
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2/3 cup (160ml) milk
1 cup (150g) self-raising flour
1/2 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg, beaten lightly
Fudge sauce-
1 1/2 cups water
50g butter
1/2 cup (110g) firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup (25g) cocoa powder
Method-
1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a two-litre capacity (eight-cup) ovenproof dish. Combine the chocolate, butter, sifted cocoa and milk in a saucepan and stir over a low heat until the chocolate is melted.
2. Sift the flour into a large bowl, stir in the sugars; add chocolate mixture and egg, mix well. Spread mixture into prepared dish.
3. Combine all fudge sauce ingredients in a small pan and stir over a low heat, without boiling, until combined. Pour fudge sauce over the pudding. Bake in oven for about 40- 45 minutes or until firm.
