Caramel Cornflake Slice

Half honey joy, half chocolate caramel slice... what is there not to like? :)


125g butter

1/2 cup honey

4 cups cornflakes

1 cup desiccated coconut

1/2 cup caster sugar

1 can Nestle Caramel Top 'n' Fill

250g milk or dark chocolate


  1. Preheat oven to 160C fan-forced oven and line a 16 X 26cm pan with baking paper.

  2. Add the butter and honey into a saucepan over low heat and stir until melted. Allow to cool slightly.

  3. Place cornflakes, coconut and sugar in a bowl and add in the butter mixture. Stir to combine.

  4. Press mixture into the lined pan, using the back of a spoon to flatten it out. Bake for 10 minutes until golden brown then set aside to cool.

  5. Spoon the caramel into a bowl then whisk until smooth. Pour the caramel over the top of the cornflake base and place into the fridge for 20 minutes to chill.

  6. Melt the chocolate in the microwave then spread over the caramel and place back into the fridge for another 20 minutes. Cut into squares using a sharp knife and serve.
